Rescue Swimmer Trauma Kit
Built for the Water.
Built to Keep You Alive.
Built to the Operator's Standard.
When you deploy as a rescue swimmer, you’re the one going in the water. And in flood and swiftwater environments — where debris is moving fast, visibility is nonexistent, and EMS is miles away — a traumatic injury doesn’t wait for a convenient moment. Punctures, lacerations, and fractures are among the most common injuries sustained in water rescue operations. The Rescue Swimmer Trauma Kit was built to make sure that when it happens, you’re equipped to handle it.
The Rescue Swimmer Trauma Kit was born out of a real close call during hurricane rescue operations on the Texas Gulf Coast, when one of our rescue swimmers sustained a severe arterial laceration attempting a rescue inside a flooded, wind-battered RV — far from the rescue boat, and even further from EMS. He made it. But it was too close. We went back and searched for a solution, that met our team needs and found none. No trauma kit on the market was waterproof, snag-resistant, and low-profile enough for an active rescue swimmer. So we built one ourselves.
This kit has since been field-tested on real deployments during Hurricane Helene and the Kerrville, TX flood disaster. It goes where you go.
Specifically designed for the unique needs of flood and swiftwater rescue swimmers
Why It’s Different
Most trauma kits were not designed to go in the water with you. This one was.
The low-profile MOLLE-compatible pouch mounts directly to your Type V PFD and sits flush against your abdomen — minimizing drag in the water, resisting snag on debris, gunwales, and sponsons as you climb back aboard, and remaining deployment-ready regardless of what you swam through to get there
Inside, every component is industrially vacuum-sealed to remain dry and deployment-ready whether you’re in the water, in a flooded structure, or operating in driving rain and wind.
Built to Last, Built in the USA
Constructed from 1000D Cordura and 1,500 lb. test webbing, this pouch is built for the abuse of real disaster environments. All materials are Berry Amendment compliant (USC Title 10, Section 2533a), making this kit eligible for U.S. Government contracting and procurement.
