About Amphibious Rescue
Amphibious Rescue was born on a rescue operation, not in a boardroom.
During hurricane rescue operations on the Texas Gulf Coast, one of our rescue swimmers sustained a severe arterial laceration inside a flooded, wind-battered structure — far from the rescue boat and further still from EMS. He survived. But the close call exposed something the disaster response community already knew: there was no trauma kit on the market designed for the conditions rescue swimmers actually operate in.
We searched. We found nothing that was simultaneously waterproof, snag-resistant, low-profile enough for active water entry, and stocked with the right clinical components. So we built one ourselves. The Rescue Swimmer Trauma Kit has since been field-tested on real deployments during Hurricane Helene and the Kerrville, Texas flood disaster.
Amphibious Rescue is the retail brand of Global First Response Solutions (GFRS), an applied research and development organization that bridges the distance between laboratory innovation and field-ready capability. Every product we build starts the same way: with an operational problem that existing solutions fail to solve, and the discipline to build what works instead of selling what’s available.
Our gear is built for the environments you operate in — water, debris, wind, and compressed time. We test in the field. We build in the USA. And we do not sell anything we would not trust with our own swimmers in the water.
